Details
Cataloging graphic novels isn’t hard but it can be complicated. From the basic monograph vs serial treatment to the considerations needed for access points we’ll look at where to get started and where to go after that.
This class will be held online. All registered attendees will receive an email with login information a few days prior to the class date.

Terms/Registration Information It is highly recommended that all registrants register for this workshop at least SEVEN DAYS PRIOR to the workshop date. If you register after that, you must additionally send an email to training@mcls.org that you have registered past the deadline. You will receive a general email confirmation immediately upon successfully registering for this workshop. All registered attendees will receive an additional email with login information approximately one week prior to the 1st class date. If you do not receive an invitation to the meeting by noon of the day prior, please email training@mcls.org.

Instructor: La Donna Riddle Weber
La Donna Riddle Weber earned her MLS at Indiana University SLIS and has worked in a variety of libraries and positions including public libraries (branch manager), academic archives (adjunct archivist), school libraries (in both the US and Scotland), special libraries (Lincoln Collection Cataloguer at Allen County Public Library), and library education (adjunct cataloging lecturer at Ball State, Ivy Tech and IUPUI). She is a member of the American Library Association, the Indiana Library Federation, and was a chartered member of CILIP (Chartered Institute of Information Professionals), the British professional organization for librarians. She has served on the executive committees of the ILF Technical Services Division and of the Cataloguing and Indexing Group in Scotland. When she isn’t cataloging she gardens, reads, manages the family farm, lets the cats and dog in and out, and doesn't blog at www.ladonnaweber.wordpress.com.
